Idea's for My final photo

Making my image 3D

To make my image 3D i had to go onto photoshop:
1) I had to start off by Duplicating the Layer
2) Next we had to go onto 'image', 'Adjustments' and then onto 'Levels'
 3) When we were on levels we had to change the top layer to 'Red' and put both the output levels to 0 - then click ok.

4) Once we had done this we then need to click on the second layer and change the Levels of that. Both green and Blue.

5) Once all the levels of the layers had been changed they should look like this:
6) The top layer we then had to change the layer to 'screen' - Then click the 'Move' tool and move the top layer down and right a little until it looked 3D through the classes, something like this:
7) Once we had matched it up to where we wanted it and so it worked and looked well in 3D we had to crop the sides down so it looked like a final finished image. Here is my final outcome:
To look at this image above now to see it as 3D you will have to use 3D glasses:

*Another way to do this is to take a photo through each eye and use these one for the top layer and one for the bottom layer.

3D Images

The task is to use one of my own images and then change this into a 3D image:
here are some images i am thinking about using - \
I am going to pick one of these images and then make it into 3D by using photoshop.

The images are best if they are in colour and there are interesting things happening in the photo - such as things sticking out etc, this will help make the 3D image look more creative and interesting.

Photoshop 3D - Research

Depending on the object type you choose, the resulting 3D model can contain one or more meshes. The Spherical Panorama option maps a panoramic image inside a 3D sphere.
We looked on a website 'Behance.net' On this were a range of images that have been made into 3 - so when using the 3D glasses it image becomes 3D. Here are some of the images:
The one thing i think about these 3D images is that i think some of them would look better in colour as they would stand out a lot more and also i think some of these are a bit boring and simple they could have been made more creative.
Stereoscopy (also called stereoscopic or 3-D imaging) refers to a technique for creating or enhancing the illusion of depth in an image by presenting two offset images separately to the left and right eye of the viewer. These two-dimensional images are then combined in the brain to give the perception of 3-D depth. Besides the technique of freeviewing, which must be learned by the viewer, three strategies have been used to mechanically present different images to each eye: have the viewer wear eyeglasses to combine separate images from two offset sources, have the viewer wear eyeglasses to filter offset images from a single source separated to each eye, or have the lightsource split the images directionally into the viewer's eyes

PhotoShop Assignment 2

For this assignment we have six weeks to complete it - in this we have to produce one final image and this can either be of a famous artist or one of our own. In these six weeks and on the blogger we have to research a minimum  of 3 artist etc with screen grabs of everything we look at. We will also need to included a rang of experimentation to make sure we reach all the high marks. All our work must been shown on the blog and not in a sketchbook.
